Director, IAM Security Access Control

Santander US is looking for a motivated leader with strong operational experience in all aspects of access management to join our team as the Director of IAM Security Access Control. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the system access control policies, processes, and systems across the US business units. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Santander's global policies. You will lead a team of nine professionals, including IAM analysts and administrators, reporting directly to the Head of US Access Management at Santander.

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements :

1. Manages team of professionals who are responsible for System Access Control functions across multiple entities within the firm local and Global.
2. Manage Application Access Provisioning – Requests via SailPoint and Service Now.
3. Support the Joiner/Mover/Leaver Process including new access and modifications to existing users.
4. Disablement of terminated users and remediation of revoked user access during certifications.
5. Coordination of Quarterly Access Certifications via SailPoint.
6. Heavy interaction with managers – local and overseas.
7. Reassigning certifications in the event the manager/application owner is not available.
8. Business user support; troubleshoot access issues, password resets where applicable, general access related inquiries.
9. Interaction with application owners and business managers to build solid working relationships.
10. Coordinate management of access provisioning for new applications when required/appropriate.
11. Able to communicate with internal and external Audit, Internal Control and Global Risk and Compliance.
12. Clear understanding of the SOD policies and Toxic combinations.
13. Knowledge of the Roles Based Access Control (RBAC) approach.
14. Review SLAs and metrics of the IAM services.

Qualifications

1. Over 7 years of relevant experience in Identity & Access Management, preferably in the financial services industry.
2. Strong knowledge of IAM best practices, frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as NIST, COBIT, SOX, GDPR, etc.
3. Hands-on experience with IAM tools and technologies, such as SailPoint, Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO/MFA & LDAP.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex and dynamic situations.
6. Strong people skills and a team player willing to collaborate and offer creative solutions.
7. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
8. Certifications in IAM such as CISSP, CIAM, CISM, CISA, CRISC, etc., preferred.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
