Hillcrest Health and Living is looking for a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team at Hillcrest Country Estates the Cottages in Papillion!
The Director of Nursing is responsible to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the Cottage nursing service.

What does day in the life look like?
• Takes the initiative to implement nursing’s objective as directed by the Administrator. Compliance measured by having a goal-oriented approach and positive attitude when implementing a developed action plan.
• Demonstrates ability to critically think, plan, organize and problem solve needs of the department and takes the initiative to implement objectives resulting in favorable outcomes.
• Coordinate the nursing care program and activities in the Cottages in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Serves as coach and mentor to the team members.
• Develops the clinical care budgets and maintains the budgets throughout the year.
• Review complaints and grievances and make necessary oral/written reports to the Administrator.
What should I have to be considered?
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least five years’ experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
• At least three years leadership experience as a unit manager, ADON or DON preferred.
• Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a Registered Nurse.
