Position Summary:

The Market Director of Quality, Risk, Regulatory & Infection Prevention serves as a strategic leader, with Quality expertise. This role is responsible for providing Quality & Risk leadership and executing the Quality & Risk strategy at the Market level, by providing comprehensive assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluation of all activities related to the quality, patient safety, risk, infection prevention and regulatory. This role works directly with Quality departments to assure that fundamental Quality initiatives are in place and they support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This position provides strategic leadership by coordinating the Quality Market functions in a standardized manner. This position provides sound guidance and operationally sound Quality direction. This role will serve as the Market Quality Leader and will oversee the activities of all Quality services in the Market. He/she operates independently to ensure objectivity and fairness for employees while supporting the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the company.

Minimum Work Experience
Knowledge of Joint Commission standards.

Experience in healthcare risk management or quality management. Related healthcare experience in leadership positions, public speaking, quality/performance improvement, and/or related hospital clinical experience is important to the successful performance of this position.
