We are seeking a Dry Cleaner Production Manager who can lead our production team while also actively participating in the day-to-day operations of garment care. In this dual-role position, you will manage production activities, supervise staff, and ensure quality standards are consistently met while also rolling up your sleeves to handle pressing, spotting, and other hands-on tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, excellent organizational skills, and a deep knowledge of garment care processes. This role offers the opportunity to manage operations while still being actively involved in the technical side of dry-cleaning production.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Oversee production activities, including sorting, cleaning, pressing, and quality control of garments.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, resolve challenges, and adjust workflows as needed.

Hands-On Involvement:

• Actively participate in stain removal as needed to ensure garments meet high-quality standards before cleaning.
• Perform pressing duties as needed, including shirts, suits, dresses, delicate fabrics.
• Willingness to learn to process specialty items, ie wedding gowns or formal wear.
• Inspect garments for any issues during the cleaning or pressing process, addressing any imperfections.

Quality Control & Customer Satisfaction:

• Conduct final quality checks on all garments to ensure they are free from stains, wrinkles, and defects.
• Address any customer-specific requests or special instructions, ensuring their satisfaction with the final product.
• Troubleshoot any garment care challenges, such as difficult stains or delicate fabrics.

Administrative & Operational Oversight:

• Track inventory of supplies (cleaning agents, pressing materials, etc.), and work with management to reorder as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry best practices.
• Assist in the planning and organization of the team’s workflow to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in dry-cleaning operations, including garment spotting and pressing.
• Strong knowledge of dry-cleaning equipment, chemicals, and garment care techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to multitask and manage a team while participating in production activities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills.
