Position: Presser
Location: Daisy Cleaners – Salem, NH
Job Type: Full-Time 7AM – 3PM
Reports To: Store Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Presser to join our team at Daisy Cleaners. The Presser will play a critical role in ensuring garments and textiles are expertly finished, providing our customers with professionally cleaned and pressed items. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in high-quality work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate pressing equipment to finish garments, such as shirts, pants, suits, dresses, and specialty fabrics, ensuring a crisp and professional appearance.
• Inspect cleaned items for stains, wrinkles, or damages before and after pressing.
• Use appropriate techniques for various fabric types to prevent damage (e.g., delicate, wool, silk).
• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production quotas and deadlines.
• Handle special requests from customers, such as additional starch or specific pressing preferences.
• Keep workstations clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Presser or in a similar role at a dry cleaner is preferred, but training is available for motivated candidates.
• Familiarity with pressing equipment and fabric care techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude.
