Amotec Inc . is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on highly sophisticated equipment, and to support 24/7 operations. This role requires strong technical expertise in electronic maintenance and repair, as well as the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rebuild cathode plug assemblies and supports to ensure maximum reliability.
• Rebuild H.V. stab connections for consistent operation.
• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance and cleaning of equipment at regular intervals.
• Make major repairs and adjustments to equipment as requested by personnel.
• Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies to support continuous operation.
• Coordinate outside repairs and machining of equipment and components.
• Assist with other maintenance and repair tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a 2-year degree in trade school is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic maintenance and repair.
• Machine experience and complex assembly experience are helpful.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational needs.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and wear a respirator when required.
• Prior Furnace Operator experience is a plus.

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and external vendors.
