At Juniper Office, we're a team committed to transforming how companies approach their office spaces. We're seeking a motivated and dynamic Interior Design Assistant to join our team in our San Antonio Office!

The Interior Design Assistant position plays a vital role in assisting both the Juniper and CultureSpace Design and Project Consultant Teams. The position will be responsible for assisting the Project Consultant in client meetings and collaborating on product specification. The role will also support the Design team by assisting with small quotes, entering orders, and fulfilling sample inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist/ take notes for Project Consultants during client meetings as they ask diagnostic questions to determine their client’s requirements, budget, employee count and space planning needs.
• Collaborate with Project Consultants on product specification and design requests.
• Produce small quotes for the Project Consultant while actively on a client call.
• Make quick changes to current projects that are ready to close.
• Assist the Design team in entering offline orders and Shopify orders.
• Assist the Design team by gathering samples and creating finish pallets to send to clients.
• Actively reaches out to vendor reps to replenish the design library samples.
• Research product and stay current with trends the market is seeing.
• Stays current on Design process to back up design team workload.
• Participate in other office duties as part of the team.

Knowledge, Education, & Experience:

• Space planning experience a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint
• This position requires a high level of attention to detail
• Basic mathematic skills required
• Strong communication skills
• Strong customer service skills with a desire to go above and beyond to assist others
• Professional demeanor
• Positive attitude
