Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and experienced Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing kitchens and bathrooms, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. As a Kitchen and Bath Designer, you will be responsible for meeting with clients, understanding their needs, and developing design solutions that exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Use 2020 design software and SketchUp
Meet with clients to discuss their kitchen and bath design needs and preferences.
Develop and present design concepts, including layout plans, color schemes, and material selections.
Create detailed 2D and 3D design renderings using design software.
Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution.
Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the kitchen and bath industry.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
Qualifications:
Certification in Kitchen and Bath Design (e.g., CKBD, NCIDQ, or similar).
Proven experience in kitchen and bath design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 20-20 Design, or similar.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of current design trends and materials.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience in project management.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
