Position Overview
As KTAR Traffic fill-in reporter, you will play a critical role in gathering relevant information such as crashes, road construction and breaking traffic news to be reported by anchors. You will also regularly deliver traffic reports as scheduled. We’re looking for a highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented professional to stay engaged and alert of all traffic news updates, gather timely traffic information, execute traffic alerts and contribute to the digital content distribution of breaking traffic news. This position will also be a part of the KTAR newsroom. This on-call position is an opportunity for a hungry broadcast professional with a desire to contribute to a winning team and be a part of our traffic department within the newsroom.
Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

Compensation Range
$17-$21 per hour
Hourly rate will be determined by an evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal and external benchmarks.
