Job Description
The (NNP) provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and technical procedures to a group of normal-to-high risk infants. Manages neonatal caseload with physician consultation and collaboration. Serves as patient and family advocate in identifying healthcare needs and actions for neonatal cases. Coordinates pre- and post-operative care activities for normal-to-high risk infants. Supports neonatal units during crisis situations. Utilizes planning, implementation, and evaluation in formulating neonatal diagnosis and intervention.
Shifts may vary for this position to include Weekends, Holidays and over night shifts to meet the needs of the department. (Hours will vary to 12 or 24 hr shifts to be expected).
