Parts Manager (PM)

FOUNDATION AUTOMOTIVE is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to join our team at Jones Chrylser. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for supervising parts department employees and inventory to meet parts sales objectives on a daily, monthly and annual basis. The Parts Manager will oversee the retail and wholesale part sales for the dealership.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the parts department with the dealership standard sales process, pricing and inventory management.
  • Analyze monthly and annual forecasts in terms of product sales, gross profit objectives and departmental profits and take action to meet or exceed department objectives.
  • Responsible for subordinate productivity, scheduling, quality measures, cost control, safety and parts inventory turn standards.
  • Develop and implement parts sales promotions, special pricing, merchandizing, and advertising to drive sales while taking advantage of manufacturers’ inventory co-op advertising.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout parts sales department transactions.
  • Manage inventory consistent with the parts requirements of retail customers, wholesalers, service, and body shops.
  • Handle parts customer grievances to the mutual satisfaction of the customer and the dealership.
  • Monitor customer payments and ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Parts Manager/Wholesale Parts experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to sell a minimum parts quota according to dealership standards
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening
  • Authorization to work in the USA
  • Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record
