Our client is InSearch for a Payroll/Accounting Assistant to join team. This newly created role provides endless growth opportunities. Responsible for performing a variety of duties pertaining to accounting, bookkeeping and project work. This role demands high attention to detail with a strong working knowledge and understanding of accounting and bookkeeping practices and regulation.

Compensation: $40,000 – $55,000 Annually

*Responsibilities*
* Assist with processing accounts receivable functions: invoicing, cash applications, deposits, and business-to-business collections.
* Audit client account details to maintain accuracy and appropriate billing per negotiated terms.
* Effectively use reporting to track aged receivables and take appropriate actions.
* Audit weekly timesheets, enter payroll hours into Paycom, and process expense reports.
* Assist the Accounting Manager and Payroll department with various accounting and payroll processing functions.
* Maintain exceptional customer service resulting in a prompt and professional outcome.

*Qualifications:*
* 1-3 years of billing and payroll experience required
* Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
* Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel needed
* Experience with QuickBooks and/or Paycom a plus
* Ability to organize and prioritize independently and effectively
