Job Description

The Property Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the property, including financial outcomes, team leadership, resident satisfaction, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in luxury or Class A multi-family property management, with demonstrated success in lease-up initiatives , team development , and resident retention strategies . This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic oversight with operational execution, ensuring that every aspect of the property delivers on our brand promise of excellence and quality.

What Will You Do Day-to-Day?

Operations & Financial Management

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor performance, and implement cost-control measures
  • Oversee rent collections, invoice approvals, and financial reporting to ownership and senior leadership
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure high standards of property upkeep and maintenance
  • Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules and capital improvement plans

Leasing & Lease-Up Strategy

  • Lead all aspects of lease-up operations, from initial strategy to stabilization
  • Drive marketing and outreach initiatives in collaboration with marketing teams to ensure visibility and strong lead generation
  • Analyze leasing trends, adjust pricing strategies, and optimize floorplan availability to maintain high occupancy and revenue goals

Resident Relations & Retention

  • Foster a positive community culture through events, communication, and personalized service
  • Ensure timely resolution of resident concerns with a customer-first approach
  • Monitor feedback and reviews to proactively address issues and enhance satisfaction
  • Implement resident retention programs to increase lease renewals and reduce turnover

Team Leadership & Development

  • Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing on-site team, including leasing consultants and maintenance personnel
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and team meetings to promote accountability and engagement
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional service and cultivating a professional, respectful work environment
  • Provide coaching and conflict resolution as needed to maintain strong team dynamics

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and local/state housing laws and regulations
  • Oversee safety protocols, incident response, and property insurance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews

Who Are You?

  • Active Property Manager (PM) or Property Manager In Charge (PMIC) license (state-specific)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing Class A or luxury multi-family housing communities
  • Proven success with lease-up and property stabilization in competitive markets
  • Deep understanding of resident satisfaction strategies and customer service best practices
  • Strong leadership skills with a background in staff management and coaching
  • Experience utilizing social media outlets for marketing efforts & to increase lead conversions
  • Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Entrata)
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
