Akkodis is seeking Python Developer for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY (Hybrid). You will be responsible for developing and enhancing quantitative methodologies for valuation, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver analytical tools, and communicating complex valuation matters to senior management.

Rate Range: $68/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer job responsibilities include:

• Developing and enhancing quantitative methodologies for valuation, focusing on Credit, Mortgages, and Municipal products.

• Collaborating with Traders, Market Risk, and Model Risk Management to implement valuation models and tools on the Quartz platform.

• Creating analytics to provide insights into valuation risks, market structure, independent data quality, and liquidity.

• Supporting the review of model limitations and driving operational excellence in Valuation Control processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in quantitative finance, Financial Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in valuation and financial modeling, with a focus on Credit, Mortgages, or Municipal products.

• Proven experience with derivative and securities pricing models, valuation models, and tools.

• Advanced proficiency in Python, with experience in distributed computing and financial modeling.

Pay Details: $68.00 to $70.00 per hour
