Job Title: Family Practice Clinic Receptionist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Family Practice Clinic Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding clinic services
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Collect and verify patient information and insurance details
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Handle patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using office equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
