Job Details

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned tax professional with a solid background in individual and corporate tax, tax advisory, tax research and preparation, and financial planning.

Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and reviewing individual and corporate tax returns and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and international tax laws.
2. Conducting comprehensive tax research and planning to identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency.
3. Providing tax advisory services to clientele, including strategic tax planning and risk management.
4. Assisting in the development and implementation of financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
5. Keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and advising management on the financial implications.
6. Assisting in the training and development of junior staff in tax-related matters.

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. 3+ years of experience in a tax accountant role, preferably in the finance industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of corporate tax, tax research, tax advisory, and tax preparation.
4. Proficiency in financial planning and strategic financial management.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-financial personnel.
7. Proficiency in CCH Pro Systems tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
