Job Summary

St. Cyril of Jerusalem School is a Preschool-8th Grade Private Catholic School located in Encino. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Spanish Teacher. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in teaching a wide range of age groups preschool-8th grade, as well as fostering a love for the Spanish language and culture while integrating Catholic values into the curriculum.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, education, liberal studies, or a related field.
- Teaching certification and/or licensure in Spanish language prefered(or eligibility for certification/licensure).
- Proficiency in Spanish language (native or near-native proficiency preferred).
- Experience teaching Spanish at the preschool, elementary and middle school level, preferably in a Catholic or faith-based environment.
- Passion for language teaching and cultural exchange, with a commitment to fostering global awareness and understanding.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Knowledge of effective instructional strategies, technology integration, and assessment practices in world languages instruction.
