Hours:

Monday Thursday, Hours 6:30 AM4:00 PM and Friday 6:30 AM-11:00 AM

Salary:

$18-20/hour based on experience

Verifies and maintains accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Utilizes Shipping and Receiving (S&R) equipment to load and unload trucks in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy and condition of incoming materials and supplies.
• Prepare proper receiving paperwork for all incoming materials and suppliesincluding powder.
• Distribute incoming materials and supplies to the proper location.
• Verify the accuracy and condition of all outgoing products working with supervisors on any discrepancies.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Open communication with drivers and customers as needed.
• Utilize BlueStreak software to create proper and accurate paperwork.
• Take photos of incoming and outgoing material as required.
• Prepare paperwork for outgoing shipments including Packing Lists, Labels, Bills of Lading, etc.
• Assist with scheduling pick-ups and deliveries.
• Ensure outgoing shipments are wrapped, banded, and secured for transport without damage.
• Inspect and package parts for shipment in accordance with customer specifications.
• Provide creative ways to improve productivity through packing and warehouse management.
• Monitor equipment for any irregularities reporting any necessary repairs.
• Perform routine cleaning in the areas of loading docks (inside/outside), truck bays, offices, and the warehouse.
• Follow procedures for material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Arrange materials to ensure easier accessibility for completing orders for the production lines.
• Support and back-up S&R Supervisor as necessary.
• Communicate with all areas of production to enhance teamwork efforts.
• Take the initiative to help other production areas as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

• Ability to understand and operate powder coating equipment
• One-year minimum manufacturing background/experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
• Proficient in mathematics and numbering systems
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to operate weigh count scale, hand pallet jacks, banders, hand tools, etc.
• Ability to become forklift certified by All-Color Powder Coating, Inc.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions
• Accuracy with attention to detail
• Ability to speak and understand the English language
• Ability to work flexible hours or overtime as needed
• Professionalism

Compensation details: 18-20 Hourly Wage
