Yamaha DM1000
For the lighter mixing requirement or where space is at a premium, the DM1000 is the professional mixer that does not compromise on quality, flexibility or capability. The 19" rack mountable mixer is hence ideal for edit suites, track laying, project studios, portable recording or pa.
The DM1000 is particularly powerful in broadcast and production applications being equipped with an N-1 clean-feed matrix, GPI control, VTR control, d/ESAM control from vision switchers or edit controllers, surround monitoring with down-mixing and bass management, "vertical" stereo linking, MS decoding, (internal) hardware adjustment to differing analogue reference levels and fader solo release.Yamaha's Studio Manager PC or Mac software permits remote control of the DM1000, time saving offline preparation of console configurations or simply provides an effective visual overview of the console's status.
This highly compact mixer is capable of operating at 96kHz and is equipped with 48 input channels, 16 with a full Mic/line capability, plus 8 mix busses, 8 auxiliaries, a stereo master buss and a stereo solo buss. Each channel is equipped with 4-band EQ, full dynamics, delay and surround panning, all directly controlled via the front panel or configured using previously stored setups in channel, EQ or dynamic libraries.Control of the 48 input channels and the outputs is managed in 4 layers of fader assignments, plus two remote layers for controlling external workstations or hardware. The DM1000 also incorporates two high performance 96kHz reverb and effects processors.
Channels and busses are connected to inputs and outputs via comprehensive routing matrices, also configurable from preset libraries, that give total freedom to connect inputs or busses to any or multiple channels or outputs. In addition to the 16 Mic/line inputs, the DM1000 I/O includes 12 Omni outputs, 4 Omni inputs and 32 channels in and out via the MY interface card slots. The MY card range includes interfaces to analogue, AES3, T-Dif, ADAT, Y2, CobraNet, mLan, MADI or Ethersound.
